Gina is a Partner and lends her experience to the firm’s insurance coverage and litigation practice groups. Gina started out as an Assistant District Attorney for Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. After practicing in Louisiana and Mississippi for several years, she relocated to Nevada and joined the firm in 2006. Since joining the firm, Gina has litigated and favorably resolved several liability cases for premises liability, negligent security and third party assaults and has also briefed several appeals. This includes briefing and successfully arguing a motion for summary judgment regarding punitive damages for a major hotel/casino where the plaintiff was seeking millions of dollars in damages. Gina regularly assists clients with coverage opinions and has successfully negotiated dozens of mediations. Additionally, Gina served as a Nevada State Chair for Claims & Litigation Management Alliance for three years and served as the Vice President of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance – Nevada Chapter through 2017. Recently, Gina was appointed as a Business Hearing Officer for the City of Henderson and she was also named as a Top Lawyer 2013 by Vegas, Inc. Magazine.

  • Successfully defended a third party administrator in a bad faith action where plaintiff asserted a claim for $50 million, including punitive damages and intention infliction of emotional distress, which were not awarded by the Jury.
  • Obtained a $2.5 million judgment in personal injury case against one defendant.
  • Obtained a $4.6 million judgment, including compensatory and punitive damages, on behalf of an employer against a former employee who embezzled corporate funds.
